Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Processing of DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

  1. Review and Verification: We will review the notice to ensure it contains all required information and appears to be valid.
  2. Investigation: We will investigate the alleged infringement and verify the information provided.
  3. Action: If the notice is valid, we will take appropriate action, which may include:
    • Disabling access to specific URLs or content

We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 48 hours of receipt. However, complex cases may require additional time for investigation.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification: Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal.
  2. Good Faith Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. The original complainant then has 10 business days to file a court action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity. If no such action is filed, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringer Policy

SaveAnyVid.com maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or access of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We may implement technical measures to prevent repeat infringers from using our service.

Factors we consider in determining whether a user is a repeat infringer include:

  • The number of valid DMCA notices received regarding the user's activity
  • The nature and severity of the infringements
  • Whether the user has responded to previous notices
  • The user's history of compliance with our policies

Misrepresentation Warning

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Similarly, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.

Before submitting a DMCA notice, please ensure that:

  • You are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • The material is indeed infringing your copyright
  • You have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • All information in your notice is accurate

Since SaveAnyVid.com does not host content and merely facilitates access to content on third-party platforms (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.), you may also wish to contact the original hosting platform directly to file a DMCA notice with them. Each platform has its own DMCA policy and procedures.
